Privacy policy
For website: www.zdenekzamecnik.cz
Effective from: 18 May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how I process the personal data of visitors to the website www.zdenekzamecnik.cz, especially when you contact me through the contact form, by e-mail, subscribe to the newsletter, or use the website.
I take the protection of personal data seriously. I process personal data only to the extent necessary, securely, and in accordance with applicable legal regulations, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, known as the GDPR.
1. Who is the data controller
The data controller is:
Zdeněk Zámečník
Website: www.zdenekzamecnik.cz
E-mail: info@zdenekzamecnik.cz
Company ID No.: 67501958
Registered office / contact address: Korunní 2569/108, 101 00 Prague 10 - Vinohrady, Czech Republic
Hereinafter referred to as the “controller”.
2. What personal data I process
If you contact me via the website form, e-mail, or another contact channel, I may process in particular the following data:
- first name and surname, if you provide them,
- e-mail address,
- telephone number, if you provide it,
- the content of your message or enquiry,
- and any other data that you voluntarily provide to me.
If you subscribe to the newsletter, I process mainly your e-mail address and, where applicable, your name if you provide it. The newsletter functionality is prepared on the website, but it is not currently being actively sent. If newsletters are sent in the future, they will be used to send news, tips, information about services, educational content, or commercial communications related to the controller’s activities.
When visiting the website, technical data may also be processed, such as IP address, information about the device, browser, time of visit, or the way the website is used, especially if cookies, Google Analytics 4, Google reCAPTCHA, Google Fonts, or embedded third-party content are used.
I do not ask you to provide sensitive personal data, such as data concerning your health, political opinions, religion, or other special categories of personal data. If you provide such data to me voluntarily, I will process it only to the extent necessary to handle your message.
3. Why I process personal data
I process your personal data mainly for the following purposes:
Handling your enquiry or message: If you send me an enquiry, message, or contact request through the website, I will use your data in order to respond to you. The legal basis is usually a legitimate interest in communicating with you and handling your request. If your enquiry relates to potential cooperation, an order, or a service, the legal basis may also be taking steps prior to entering into a contract.
Keeping records of communication: I may keep communication for a certain period of time so that I know what you asked about, how I responded, and so that I can follow up on previous communication if necessary. The legal basis is a legitimate interest in maintaining clear records of communication and protecting my legal claims.
Newsletter: If you subscribe to the newsletter, I may use your e-mail address to send news, tips, offers, information about services, or other relevant content. The legal basis is your consent. The newsletter is not currently being actively sent; however, subscription may serve as a record of interest in future communication. You will be able to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
Ensuring the security and functionality of the website: Technical data may be processed for the purpose of operating the website securely and reliably. This may also apply to Google reCAPTCHA, if it is used to protect the form against spam and automated abuse. The legal basis is a legitimate interest in operating secure and functional websites.
Website traffic analysis and website improvement: If Google Analytics 4 is used, data may be used to understand website traffic, evaluate the performance of content, and improve the user experience. Where cookies or similar technologies are not strictly necessary, the legal basis is usually your consent given through the cookie banner.
4. How long I keep personal data
I keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose.
Data from the contact form or e-mail communication is usually kept for the time necessary to handle your enquiry and then for a reasonable period in case of follow-up communication, generally no longer than 3 years from the last communication, unless there is a legal or legitimate reason for longer retention.
Newsletter data is kept for the duration of your consent to receive the newsletter. If you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent, I will stop sending you the newsletter. I may keep a basic record of the unsubscribe request for a reasonable period of time in order to prove that I respected your request.
Technical and analytical data is retained for the period determined by the settings of the specific tool or cookie banner. In the case of Google Analytics 4, the retention period may depend on the settings in the service administration.
If a contractual or business relationship is established between us, some data may be kept for a longer period, especially for the purpose of complying with legal obligations, accounting requirements, or protecting legal claims.
5. To whom personal data may be disclosed
I do not transfer your personal data to third parties for the purpose of sale, nor do I provide it for unsolicited marketing.
However, trusted technical service providers who help me operate the website, e-mail, newsletter, analytics, or related tools may have access to the data. These may include in particular:
- web hosting providers,
- website administrators or technical support providers,
- e-mail service providers,
- Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC in connection with Google Analytics 4, Google reCAPTCHA, Google Fonts, or YouTube embeds, if used on the website,
- a newsletter tool provider, such as Leadhub, if the newsletter is actively used in the future.
These providers process data only to the extent necessary and on the basis of appropriate contractual or legal rules.
6. Use of Google services
The following Google services may be used on the website:
- Google Analytics 4 – to measure website traffic and understand how visitors use the website,
- Google reCAPTCHA – to protect the contact form against spam and automated abuse,
- Google Fonts – to display the Inter font or other web fonts, unless the fonts are stored locally directly on the website,
- YouTube embeds – for embedded videos, if they are added to the website in the future.
Depending on the specific settings, these services may process technical data, such as IP address, device and browser information, cookie identifiers, or data about website usage.
Google Analytics 4 and any analytical or marketing elements should be activated only after consent has been given through the cookie banner, unless legal regulations allow another approach.
Google reCAPTCHA may be used as a security feature of the form. Since it helps protect the website against spam and abuse, its use may be justified by a legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website.
If Google Fonts are loaded directly from Google servers, technical data may be transferred to Google when the fonts are loaded. If the fonts are stored locally on the website, this transfer is generally limited.
If YouTube videos are embedded on the website, YouTube may process visitor data when the embedded content is displayed or played, depending on its settings. For embedded videos, it is advisable to use a privacy-enhanced mode or to load them only after consent, where technically possible.
7. Transfer of data outside the European Union
I try to process personal data primarily within the European Union or the European Economic Area.
If any of the tools or service providers used, such as Google or a newsletter tool provider, transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA, this will only take place under the conditions set out by the GDPR, for example on the basis of an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, or other appropriate safeguards.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
The website may use technical cookies that are necessary for the proper functioning of the website.
If the website uses analytical, marketing, or other optional cookies, for example in connection with Google Analytics 4, YouTube embeds, or other third-party services, they should be used only on the basis of your consent given through the cookie banner.
You may give, refuse, or later change your consent to cookies. Without your consent, optional analytical or marketing cookies should not be activated.
9. Newsletter
The website may provide the option to subscribe to a newsletter. The newsletter may be used to send news, practical tips, information about services, educational content, or commercial communications related to the controller’s activities.
At present, the newsletter is not being actively sent and is not connected to a specific newsletter tool. If the newsletter is actively used in the future, the expected tool may be, for example, Leadhub or a similar service.
Subscription to the newsletter is voluntary and based on your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time. Unsubscribing will be possible in particular through an unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by sending a request to info@zdenekzamecnik.cz.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the consent was withdrawn.
10. Automated decision-making and profiling
I do not carry out automated decision-making in the processing of personal data that would have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
I do not use your data for automated profiling that would significantly affect your rights or opportunities.
11. Your rights
In connection with the processing of personal data, you have in particular the right of access to personal data, the right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data, the right to erasure of personal data, the right to restriction of processing, the right to object to processing, the right to data portability where relevant, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
If processing is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.
If you wish to exercise any of your rights, please contact me at info@zdenekzamecnik.cz. I will handle your request in accordance with applicable legal regulations.
12. Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe that your personal data is not being handled in accordance with legal regulations, you have the right to contact the Office for Personal Data Protection.

Access to personal data is granted only to persons or providers who genuinely need it to ensure the operation of the website, communication, newsletter, or related services.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, especially if the way personal data is processed, the tools used, or legal requirements change.
